For many, this is an extremely attractive alternative to other types of country house accommodation, since the house party atmosphere is ideal for friends and family, either for a holiday together, or for a special occasion. Whole house rental, particularly of luxury country house accommodation, is also extremely attractive for corporate entertaining, especially when planned to coincide with a major cultural or sporting event.  

In most cases houses are rented complete with staff though several permit you to bring your own, in which case you may wish the owners to arrange your shopping in advance. And, if you are bringing your own staff, you can either select your wine and drinks from the house's own cellar, or we can recommend a wine merchant to supply your needs on a sale or return basis.
